An Idea for State Constitutional Reform
Reforming our state constitutions could help lower the partisan temperature.
I recently had an article published in the Rutgers Law Review, which you can access here. It’s entitled, “Make Politics Local Again: The Case for Pro-Localization State Constitutional Reform.”
Disclaimer: It is long. It’s an edited version of my senior thesis. Although it’s a slog, if you’re interested in thinking about structural reforms that might tamp down the bitterness and divisiveness of American politics today, I think it’s worth a read.
Then again, I’m biased.
