American Politics and Our "Disconnect" Problem
"If we had to pick one word to describe why American politics has been both so dysfunctional and so divisive in the post-9/11 era, 'disconnect' might work."
Yesterday, I had a piece published in Merion West magazine, entitled “The Great American Disconnect.”
In the piece, I argue that the theme of “disconnect” underlies many of our most intractable political problems. I’ve written about this theme before. If you have a minute, give this new piece a read.
And if you have any ideas on how to minimize one of the 4 “disconnects” I highlight in the piece, I’m always an email away!
Stay warm,
Tom
